Getting Started

Set up your club in Ippon System and start managing members, payments, and more.

Welcome to Ippon System! This guide will walk you through the essential steps to set up your club and start using the platform.

Setup Checklist

1

Configure Your Club Settings

Start by setting up your basic club information. Go to Settings → Club Settings to configure:

  • Club name and logo
  • Timezone (affects class schedules and reports)
  • Contact information
  • Age thresholds for adult/minor classification

2

Connect Your Payment Provider

To accept payments from members, connect Stripe (recommended for online payments) or Square (great for in-person card readers).

You can start adding members and setting up other features while your payment provider verification is pending.
3

Set Up Your Class Schedule

Add your recurring classes so members can see the schedule and you can track attendance.

4

Create Membership Plans

Define the membership options available at your club. Each plan can have:

  • A name and description
  • Pricing (monthly, yearly, or one-time)
  • Class access restrictions (which classes members can attend)

5

Create Waiver Templates

Set up liability waivers that members must sign before training. You can use our pre-built templates or create your own.

6

Invite Your Staff & Coaches

Add team members like coaches and managers to help run your club. These roles are for internal management only and are separate from your club members.

  • Owner: Full access to everything
  • Manager: Operational access (no billing)
  • Coach: Can manage attendance, members, and gradings

Add Your First Members

Now you're ready to add members! You can enter them manually, or use your public registration page to let people sign up themselves.
