Connecting Stripe
Accept credit card payments from your members by connecting your Stripe account.

Stripe is a payment processor that allows you to accept credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other payment methods from your members. Connecting your Stripe account is quick and secure - you don't need any technical knowledge.
Navigate to Payment Settings
From your club dashboard, click on Settings in the sidebar, then select Payment Provider.

Click Connect Stripe Account
On the Payment Provider page, find the Stripe section and click the purple Connect Stripe Account button.

Click the purple button to start the connection process
Complete Stripe Authorization
You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure website. Here's what to expect:
If you already have a Stripe account:
- Log in with your existing Stripe email and password
- Review the permissions requested by Ippon System
- Click "Connect" or "Authorize"
If you don't have a Stripe account:
- Fill in your email address and create a password
- Enter your business information (club name, type, etc.)
- Click "Connect" to create your account and authorize the connection
Connection Complete
After authorizing on Stripe, you'll be redirected back to Ippon System. Your Stripe connection status will show as Connected.

You can now accept payments!
What Happens Next?
Immediately After Connecting
- You can accept test payments right away
- Your members can make payments online
- No additional setup needed in Ippon System
Within 24-48 Hours
Stripe will send you an email with steps to complete your account setup:
- Add your bank account (so you receive payouts)
- Complete identity verification
- Provide business documentation (if applicable)

Understanding Your Payment Setup
Your club has two separate payment systems:
💰 Member Payments (What You Just Set Up)
Money IN to your club. Members pay you for classes, memberships, events, and merchandise. Goes directly to YOUR Stripe account and then to YOUR bank.
📋 Platform Subscription (Separate)
Money OUT from your club. You pay Ippon System for using the platform. Charged from your credit/debit card. Set up in Settings → Platform Billing.
