Access Matrix
Control which classes each plan can access.
The access matrix defines which classes are available to each membership plan. This allows you to create tiered memberships where higher-priced plans unlock more training options.

Common Access Patterns
Age-Based Access
Junior plans only include kids/junior classes. Adult plans include adult classes. This prevents children from accidentally booking adult sessions.
Tiered Access (Good/Better/Best)
Basic plan: 2 classes/week. Standard plan: Unlimited classes. Premium plan: Unlimited classes + open mat + private lessons.
Competition Team
Competition-focused plan that includes competition squad training, early morning sessions, and strength & conditioning - classes not included in regular memberships.
Family Plans
Family plans typically include all classes across all age groups, allowing parents and children to train during any session.
What Happens When Access is Denied?
Member Portal
Members only see classes they can access when browsing the schedule. Classes outside their plan are hidden or shown as "Upgrade to access."
Check-in
If a member tries to check in to a class not in their plan, staff will see a warning. You can choose to allow entry anyway or ask the member to upgrade.
Kiosk Mode
Self-service kiosks can be configured to either block check-in or show a prompt asking the member to see staff.
