Pricing Tiers

Configure early bird, member, and regular pricing for your events.

Common Pricing Strategies

Early Bird Pricing

Offer a discounted rate for early registration. Encourages members to commit early, helping with event planning.

Example: $35 until March 1st, $45 after

Member Discount

Give club members a lower price than non-members. Rewards loyalty and encourages membership.

Example: Members $35, Non-members $50

Late Registration Fee

Charge more for last-minute registrations. Discourages late sign-ups that complicate logistics.

Example: Regular $45, After deadline $55

Family Discount

Offer reduced pricing when multiple family members register together.

Example: First family member $45, additional $30 each

Tier Options

Date Range

Set start and end dates for when this tier is available. Tiers automatically switch based on the current date.

Member Restriction

Restrict a tier to club members only. Non-members will see the next available tier.

Quantity Limit

Limit how many registrations can use a specific tier. Great for limited early bird spots.

How Tiers Apply

When a member registers, the system finds the best applicable tier:

  1. Checks if the current date falls within the tier's date range
  2. Checks if the tier requires membership (and if the person is a member)
  3. Checks if the tier has remaining quantity
  4. Applies the first tier that matches all conditions

Note: Members always see the best price they're eligible for. If early bird is still available and they're a member, they get the early bird member rate.

Free Events

For free events, you have two options:

No Pricing Tiers

Don't add any pricing tiers. Registration will be free with no payment required.

$0 Tier

Create a tier with $0 price. Useful if you want to track registration without payment, or if you want to display the regular price as "crossed out" for members.

Set your early bird deadline at least 2 weeks before the event. This gives you time to plan based on registrations.
Use quantity limits on early bird tiers to create urgency. "First 20 registrations only" encourages quick action.
Price changes don't affect existing registrations. If someone registered at $35, they won't be charged more if prices go up.
