When editing a grade, you can change:

  • Grade name and Japanese name
  • Belt color
  • Display order
  • Whether the grade is active or archived
Keep your grade names consistent with your national federation's naming conventions for easy recognition.
You can add intermediate grades (like stripes or tabs) if your club uses them for younger students.
Archiving a grade hides it from new assignments but preserves historical records for members who achieved it.
