Managing Inventory

Adding Stock

When you receive new inventory, go to the product and click "Adjust Stock". Enter the quantity received and it will be added to your current count.

Stock Adjustments

For corrections (damaged items, physical count differences), use stock adjustments. Each adjustment is logged with a reason.

Automatic Updates

Stock decreases automatically when orders are placed and paid. Cancelled orders return items to inventory.

Out of Stock Handling

Hide Product

Automatically hide products from the shop when they reach zero stock.

Show as Sold Out

Display the product with a "Sold Out" label. Members can see it but can't purchase.

Allow Backorders

Let members purchase even when out of stock. You fulfill when inventory arrives.

Do a physical inventory count monthly to catch any discrepancies early.
Set variant-level thresholds for products with sizes. Alert when specific sizes run low.
Be careful with backorders. Only enable them if you have a reliable supplier and timeline.
