Announcements are the primary way to share news and updates with your members. They appear prominently on the Member Portal dashboard, ensuring members see important information when they log in.

Creating an Announcement

Click New Announcement

From your club dashboard, click the plus icon or New Announcement button.

Write your content

Enter a clear title and write your message using the rich text editor.

Create Announcement

Select your audience

Choose who should see this announcement. You can target all members or specific groups.

Choose notification options

Optionally send an email notification in addition to the portal announcement.

Publish Now

Click "Publish Now" to post immediately to the member portal.

Visible to members in the portal right now.

Targeting Audiences

Show announcements to specific groups of members:

  • All Members - Everyone in your club roster
  • By Role - Target specific roles like Athletes, Coaches, or Managers.
  • Specific Members - Select individual members to receive the update.
Use clear, action-oriented titles like "Register for Spring Tournament by March 1st" rather than vague ones like "Tournament Update".
Pinned announcements stay at the top of the list. Use this for your most important current information.
Old announcements can clutter the dashboard. Archive or delete announcements that are no longer relevant.
