Your club hosts and participates in various events throughout the year. Browse upcoming events to find competitions, seminars, gradings, and social gatherings.
Finding Events
Go to Events in the portal to see what's coming up. You can:
- View events in a list or calendar view
- Filter by event type (tournament, seminar, grading, social)
- Search for specific events by name
- See only events you're eligible for
Event Types
Tournaments
Competitions where you can test your skills against others. Usually require advance registration and have weight/age divisions.
Seminars
Special training sessions often with guest instructors. Great for learning new techniques and perspectives.
Gradings
Belt testing events where you can advance to the next rank. Usually require instructor approval to register.
Social Events
Club gatherings, holiday parties, and team-building events. Fun opportunities to connect with fellow members.

- Date & Time - When the event takes place
- Location - Where to go (address with map link)
- Description - What to expect and any requirements
- Price - Registration cost (member vs non-member pricing)
- Registration deadline - Last day to sign up
- Who can attend - Eligibility requirements
Member Pricing
As a member, you often get discounted event pricing:
When viewing events, you'll see your member price automatically. The regular price may be shown crossed out so you can see your savings.
Event Eligibility
Some events have restrictions:
- Age groups - Youth, adult, or masters divisions
- Belt rank - Minimum or specific rank required
- Experience - Beginner-friendly or advanced only
- Membership status - Members only or open to all
Events you're not eligible for may be hidden or shown with a note explaining why.
